The Servant's Heart Award Servant's Hearts are awarded to girls as a way of recognizing their commitment to bettering their community. Everything from soccer teams to Sunday schools require volunteers to keep them going and we want to encourage the girls to do their part. Life Skills Achievement Award Many children graduate high school and enter the “real world” completely unprepared to take on the simplest tasks. In today’s busy society, parents often find that it is faster to do chores themselves than to take the time to teach their children how to do them. The Life Skills Achievement Award was written to ensure that girls at each level can perform skills that they will need later in life. These skills include household chores, personal grooming, physical skills, safety skills, financial skills, navigational skills, and basic living skills. Make A Difference Award The Make a Difference Award is given to those girls who up step up and lead their own community service project. We offer this award at all program levels to show that even younger girls can be leaders and make a difference in their community. Make A Difference projects increase in scope and difficulty as the girls get older. Majoring in and Area of Discovery This award is only available at the Butterfly and Eagle levels. Majoring in an Area of Discovery gives the girls a chance to focus on an area that interests them as a possible future career. Liberty Award Thomas Jefferson warned , "If a nation expects to be ignorant and free in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be." Understanding the importance of American liberty, and how it was obtained, is crucial if we are to keep that liberty in the years to come. To earn the Liberty Award, you must earn all five of the following badges at your level: • U.S. Constitution • Elections • U.S. Government • American History • Patriotism Leadership Award The leadership award was designed to encourage girls to take on leadership responsibilities and exhibit leadership skills . Fruit of the Spirit Award The Fruit of the Spirit Award is earned by earning each of the nine character badges represented in the Frontier Girls Creed: Gem Awards The Gem Award is the highest award a girl can earn at each program level. Designed for those girls who wish to go above and beyond simply attending meetings and earning badges, the Gem Awards recognize those girls who have participated in every available portion of our program. |
| Awards Frontier Girls provides a variety of higher awards for the girls to earn, in addition to our badges, each serving a different purpose within our program. |
