Take the Lead!
Ready to Start Your Own Frontier Girls Troop?
Frontier Girls is a scouting style program that is chartered through non-profit organizations such as:

  •  Churches
  •  Schools
  •  Veterans Groups
  •  Community Organizations such as the Moose Lodge, Elks Lodge, or Kiwanis

All the materials you need to complete the charter process and start your troop can be found online.

The process begins with the following steps

1.  Download the Troop Start Up Instructions and the complete Charter Packet.

2.  Find prospective charter organizations in your community.

3.  Make a presentation to your chosen organization(s) demonstrating the benefits and responsibilities
of chartering a Frontier Girls troop.

4.  Submit the completed Charter Packet and all necessary documentation and fees to the Frontier
Girls main office.

5.  A complete Frontier  Girls start up kit will be sent to you within 3 weeks of receiving your completed
charter packet.

6.  Read through the program materials and have the leader take the Home Study test and submit it to
the Frontier Girls main office.

7.  Hold planning meetings with volunteers, parents and girls.

8.  Plan your first four to eight meetings

9.  Gather your supplies
