| Volunteer Today! Frontier Girls is 100% volunteer run and we can always use extra help. Below are a few of the areas where you can make a difference in our organization. Please contact us for more information on any given position. |
* Troop Leader - Organize meetings and activities for your own troop of girls. Meet weekly,
bi-weekly or even monthly depending on what works for you. You don't have to be an expert, just
willing to learn right alongside your girls.
* Troop Volunteer - Support a troop leader by volunteering to help out at troop meetings. Both
assistant leaders and general helpers are needed within each troop.
* Instructor - Volunteer locally to teach girls about a certain subject. If you are a florist you could
teach a class on flower arranging. If you are a carpenter you could teach woodworking.
* Military Liaison - We are always looking for more ways to support our military families. If you
have connections with the military we would appreciate any information on support programs or
information that may benefit them.
* Badge Writer - We have made a commitment to writing a badge for nearly anything a girl
wishes to learn about. If you have expertise in an area you think girls would be interested in, or
know someone who does, please consider helping us write the badge requirements for new
badges.
* State Coordinator - As we continue to grow we are looking for individuals who wish help
coordinate activities within their state. These may include recruitment, statewide community
service projects, troop support and legal filings.
* Public Relations - Help us get the word out about Frontier Girls. Contact us to get a media
packet.
* Fundraising - As a new organization we are still struggling with the many start up costs we
continue to encounter. Any help fund raising money for the organization helps keep the
registration fees down for everyone involved.
* Office Help - If you live in the Redding, CA area we can always use extra help in the office filing,
cleaning, shipping, etc.
